Children’s Team
The Children’s Team at Leicester PIWC is dedicated to nurturing the spiritual growth and development of children through creative teaching, enjoyable activities, and engaging worship. Their mission is to lead children to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ by imparting biblical principles and helping them build a lifelong faith. They aim to provide spiritual guidance while encouraging creativity, curiosity, and community among the children they serve.
Activities
The Children’s Team engages in various activities to support the children of the church, including:
- Sunday School: Weekly Bible lessons designed to help children understand the Word of God in an age-appropriate manner.
- Children’s Worship: Leading dynamic and interactive worship experiences that engage children in praise and worship.
- Vacation Bible School: Organising special holiday programmes filled with fun, learning, and spiritual growth.
- Community Outreach: Hosting events and activities that involve children in the wider community, promoting kindness, compassion, and service.
- Creative Arts: Encouraging children to express their faith through music, drama, and arts and crafts.
