The Hospitality Team at Leicester PIWC is dedicated to ensuring every member and visitor feels welcomed and valued, embodying the love of Christ through their service.
Mission
Their mission is to foster an atmosphere of kindness, warmth, and inclusivity, treating every guest like family and addressing each need with grace and attentiveness.
Activities
The team plays a crucial role in the smooth operation of services and events, engaging in activities such as:
- Welcoming Guests: Greeting arrivals warmly, offering assistance, and ensuring a friendly environment.
- Visitor Follow-up: Connecting with newcomers, providing information about the church, and encouraging their return.
- Event Support: Assisting in planning, setting up, and serving during church events like community meals and special services.
- Refreshment Preparation: Organising and serving refreshments during or after services to ensure attendees feel cared for.
- Ushering: Helping with seating arrangements, distributing materials such as bulletins or offering envelopes, and maintaining order during services.
- Care Ministry: Providing support to those in need within the church through meals, visits, or prayers during challenging times.
